About Jenny
Jennifer Delich
BSc, MPT, GunnIMS, IOC Sports Dip.
Founder, Fernie Pilates | Physiotherapist | Classical Pilates Instructor
Jenny has always been curious about how the body moves, heals, and performs which led her to pursue extensive education and training in health and sport science. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Physiotherapy Studies, and is among the first Canadian physiotherapists to complete the International Olympic Committee Diploma in Sports Medicine — a globally respected credential held by a select group of practitioners worldwide.
Alongside her academic and clinical training, Jennifer competed at the highest level as a member of Alpine Canada’s National Ski Team and later worked as a physiotherapist with both Alpine Canada and Speed Skating Canada at the 2014 & 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
Throughout her career, she has observed gaps in how rehabilitation programs address movement, and the impact on elite athletes and active, everyday clients. This realization led her to seek out Pilates, a globally respected movement system known for its precision, control and ability to build lasting strength.
Seeking the highest level of training, Jennifer completed a 900-hour Comprehensive Classical Pilates Certification under internationally renowned teacher Lori Coleman-Brown. This places her among a select group of instructors worldwide who trained in the classical system at Atlas Pilates in Seattle.
Jenny brings a unique integration of physiotherapy, sport science, and classical Pilates to her work in Fernie. She’s passionate about helping people move better and live stronger, whether they’re training for performance, recovering from injury, or simply committed to staying active and resilient for life.
